A couple of weeks ago, FutureScot travelled to Edinburgh’s CodeBase to sit down with Julie Grieve – the CEO and founder of Criton Apps – for a short chat about her startup journey and to hear her thoughts on the Scottish tech scene.
What is Criton Apps?
“Criton Apps is the UK’s first DIY app builder for the Hospitality sector. It allows hotels to turn their guest directories into an app, and they can control the content, so they can make changes to it whenever they want, send messages to their guests.
We’re now looking to aggregate guest facing technology into the app so that guests will be able to check in online, open their door, control their air conditioning. Really anything that is internet enabled will work with our app.”
