cyber security 2026

Scotland’s leading public sector cyber resilience conference

Date: Tuesday 24 February 2026
Venue: University of Strathclyde, Technology & Innovation Centre, Glasgow
Conference timings: 08:15 – 16:30

Scotland’s flagship public sector cyber security conference returns as the leading event of Cyber Scotland Week 2026, supported by The Scottish Government & CyberScotland partnership.

The 2026 conference will bring together government leaders, national agencies, law enforcement, critical infrastructure providers, and cybersecurity experts from industry and academia to tackle the most urgent threats to Scotland’s digital resilience.

With the scale, complexity, and speed of cyberattacks growing, this year’s event will focus on national-level defence coordination, the launch of a new Cyber Observatory, and the role of AI and automation in both threat mitigation and vulnerability.

From ransomware and phishing to social engineering and insider threats, the agenda will explore practical strategies for building layered cyber resilience across public services, including health, education, local authorities, and national agencies.

Conference themes include:
– National Cyber Resilience Strategy
– Threat Intelligence & Response
– Zero Trust Architectures
– Public Sector & Infrastructure Case Studies
– AI & Emerging Threats
