Aberdeen software company on high growth trajectory

An Aberdeen-based software development firm has announced a 30% growth in business over the past 12 months, with the value of contracts secured this year totalling £600K.

Insiso, which provides advanced software solutions to clients across the energy, retail, manufacturing, medical and financial sectors has also seen staff numbers rocket in line with this growth. The team has more than tripled in the last two years, from five to 17 members of staff.

They recently completed a two-year project with Oceaneering International, Inc, a global company providing engineered services and products. The Insiso team played a role in supporting the creation of the global firm’s new Inform InspectTM digital asset inspection system. The software streamlines non-destructive testing (NDT) and inspection management, and by using tablet-based technology, it equips personnel with the ability to deliver seamless, end-to-end inspection with standardised data capture, stored in a cloud-based system.

Insiso’s Managing Director, Arrash Nekonam, said: “It’s no exaggeration to say that the last 12 months have been our most successful yet. While it’s extremely gratifying to see our hard work bear fruit, we are ambitious to grow the business even further. In fact, we are on target to break the £1million mark in revenue during 2020.

“Working in collaboration with Oceaneering has provided us with an opportunity to further illustrate how our bespoke software platforms can streamline business operations, saving our clients time and money. We helped them to realise their ideas around fully exploiting the benefits of cloud technology. Trials reveal that Inform Inspect is already increasing end-to-end inspection productivity by 30 percent, compared to traditional methods.”

Chris May, Asset Integrity Systems Director at Oceaneering, said: “While we have worked previously with the team at Insiso, this was our first collaboration on such a major project. Their experience, insight and knowledge were invaluable – supporting us as we developed our concepts and plans into a fully operational system. We are pleased to report that Oceaneering’s Inform Inspect solution has experienced a great deal of traction since its launch.”

Insiso is a leading-edge software development firm which works closely with clients across a range of sectors to translate their business requirements into complete, customised software solutions.
