Purpose HR in series of client wins on Scottish tech scene

Purpose HR, which provides HR as a service to high growth technology companies, has secured a series of recent client wins including fashion shopping app, Mallzee, training software specialist, Administrate and AIM-listed Smarter Grid Solutions.

Founded by former Wolfson Microelectronics executive Lisa Thomson following a Saltire Fellowship that saw Lisa study entrepreneurship at Babson College in Boston in 2014, Purpose HR has gone on to support a number of highly rated technology companies, primarily in Scotland, that are in a high growth phase with associated periods of intensive hiring activity.

Key player on Scottish tech scene

Already a key player on Scotland’s tech scene – Lisa helped to launch Startup Grind, a global network of entrepreneurs, in Scotland and assisted the launch of Scottish Enterprise sponsored Scotland Can Do Scale – Lisa and Purpose HR came to further prominence as an HR adviser to health tech success story Craneware before going on to support portfolio companies of investment groups like Archangels, the angel syndicate, including PowerPhotonic and Calcivis.

Purpose also have on board Victoria Lees, an Associate at Purpose HR and the firm has recently added Wendy Davidson to its team to provide operational support, with further hires planned for the next 12 months. Both Victoria and Wendy bring extensive HR knowledge from a range of industry sectors.
