The Scottish Government has entered the recruitment market for a new ‘head of cyber’ to oversee its organisational and national cyber resilience and security functions.

The £81k deputy director role will also take charge of the new Scottish Cyber Coordination Centre (SC3), set up as a collaborative public sector response service to cybercrime.

‘As well as leading national cyber policy, you will be the head of the new Scottish Cyber Coordination Centre, which will improve the cyber resilience of Scotland’s public sector. ‘You will also oversee the operational cyber security functions for the Scottish Government’s systems.’
