ScotlandIS has unveiled the shortlist for its 2018 Digital Technology Awards. Now in their eighth year, the awards celebrate the wealth of talent and innovation in Scotland’s digital technologies industry.

This year the awards received a significant number of entries from a diverse range of companies, reflecting the strength of the sector, said organisers. The judging panel included experts, champions, and influencers from across the industry.

“We are a small country with outstanding capabilities reflected in the diversity, scale and innovation of the companies on the shortlist,” said Polly Purvis, chief executive of ScotlandIS.

“We’ve received entries from so many exciting companies who are growing and developing new products and services in response to the opportunities created by the pace of change in the digital world, creating tough choices for the judges.

“The continued success of the industry is reflected in the awards, which highlight the wealth of opportunities available to those considering a career in this vibrant sector. ”
