SnapDragon shortlisted for three awards at Women in IT Excellence Awards

Edinburgh-based brand monitoring specialist, SnapDragon, has been shortlisted for three awards at this year’s Women in IT Excellence Awards.

The awards recognise the outstanding contribution women make to the UK’s digital sector with the awards ceremony taking place at London’s Finsbury Square on the 27 November.

SnapDragon has been shortlisted for ‘Diversity Employer of The Year’, an award that celebrates companies that encourage and welcome diversity within the workplace.

Founder and CEO, Rachel Jones, is also in the running for ‘SME Innovator of the Year’ and the coveted ‘Entrepreneur of the Year’ award.

The nominations come hot on the heels of SnapDragon’s recent inclusion on Real Business’ ‘Top 25 SME Culture Leaders’ list, where it was ranked fourth in the UK. The list recognises small companies which focus on ensuring a positive workplace culture lies at their core.

Speaking about the company’s recent successes, Rachel said: “Being in the running for such prestigious awards is a tribute to our talented, committed and diverse team who use our Swoop technology to deliver above and beyond clients’ expectations. Integrity, commitment and passion underpin everything we do.”
