Speakers for this year’s TEDxGlasgow, centered on the theme ‘Lead or Follow’, are announced on 23 April. Now in its fifth year, TEDxGlasgow brings together inspirational speakers, curious individuals and decision makers to challenge perspectives and facilitate positive change. In recent years, it’s brought a mix of famous and fresh faces to the stage, including Microsoft’s Amos Miller and the, James Lyne, global head of security research at security firm Sophos.

Lyne’s 2016 talk centred on cybercrime and its growth in recent years. From an increasing number of products and services online that make hacking easier than ever, to the exploits that deploy malicious code onto systems silently, it is a space of constant innovation within the tech sector. 2017’s line-up will include speakers from several of the world’s most established technology firms.

Tickets are now on sale via www.tedxglasgow.com where you can also view all the talks from previous years.
