A climate tech workspace, business support and investment specialist has announced its expansion into Scotland

Sustainable Ventures, one of the leading climate tech hubs outside the US, is to partner on a new Glasgow hub with the national Techscaler startup education programme.

The company, which has offices in London, Manchester and Cambridge, has helped 700 climate tech companies jointly raise over £1.1 billion and created over 6,000 jobs.

With over 1,000 innovators based at their HQ Workspace in London, it has led 53 investments via seven funds to date make the firm one of UK’s most active early-stage climate tech investors. 

Techscaler, the Scottish Government’s tech startup programme run by CodeBase, already supports in the region of 100 climate tech companies across Scotland, who will get access to Sustainable Ventures programmes.

Alongside its venture capital arm, Sustainable Ventures works closely with portfolio companies through intensive 12-month programmes, one-to-one support, and the provision of professional services, to help accelerate growth and secure future funding rounds.
