Ten tech founders are to head to Silicon Valley in October thanks to the Scottish Government-backed ‘Techscaler’ growth programme.
The budding entrepreneurs will visit the epicentre of the global technology market in a trip designed to boost connections and business opportunities.
Supported by CodeBase, the Edinburgh-headquartered technology ecosystem builder, the founders will spend two weeks in San Francisco and Silicon Valley between 3-17th October, including attending San Francisco Tech Week.

“These 10 startups have real momentum across fintech, health, climate, and enterprise AI, and we’re proud to support their growth on the global stage.”
The companies to be represented are GreenFlip, Fyvie AI, Antaia, Fanbase, Metahelios, Neon Guard, EchoAI, PartnerBridge, XYNQ, and NEUROBITE.
NEUROBITE is a spinout from the University of Glasgow designing ‘bio-resorbable’ brain implants to temporarily record and stimulate neural activity in patients with epilepsy and post-stroke symptoms.
Dr Maria Cerezo-Sanchez, CEO and co-founder of NEUROBITE, said: “The US is our first target market and previously we have focused on our East Coast connections so it was vital for us to expand our network on the West Coast and to better understand the ecosystem there, both from a clinical and an investment perspective.
“We hope to not only expand our network but to establish meaningful relationships in the form of partnerships, collaborations and investment opportunities.”
Others include Neon Guard, a deeptech company developing an age assurance platform that operates without photo ID or biometrics, and GreenFlip, an AI platform that models the energy upgrade potential of homes, providing lenders and investors with the data to finance upgrades at scale.
The founders were selected through a structured panel review prioritising C-suite leadership, proven revenue or pilot traction, and steps already taken towards growth in the US.
Techscaler Silicon Valley is one of six international programmes in 2026, including the third Singapore cohort beginning in late October, and the first Hong Kong programme which recently opened for applications. International programmes in the UAE, New York, and Tokyo have already taken place.
