North East digital consultancy 4_ttude is to enter into partnership with Design Sprint Academy Global to form Design Sprint Academy Scotland.
The new strategic relationship allows Aberdeen-based 4_ttude to further develop its work with enterprises from across a broad range of sectors on digital transformation & innovation, which is a must for companies adapting to changes in technology, processes and customer expectations in today’s world.
Discussing the new partnership, Kate McKay, Founder of 4_ttude and DSA Scotland’s Managing Director said: “We are incredibly proud to be one of the first organisations to become a DSA Global strategic partner. We have worked closely with Design Sprint Academy over the last 6 months in preparation to launch Design Sprints as a proven methodology for Scottish SMEs to adopt, driving change and transformation within their business.”
Using ONE Tech Hub in Aberdeen as its base, DSA Scotland will be part of the North East digital network and deliver regular Design Sprints meetups across Scotland. Michael Boniface, Director of ONE Tech Hub and Head of ONE CodeBase at Opportunity North East, said: “We are delighted to welcome Kate and DSA Scotland as the latest tenant to join ONE Tech Hub. Her experience in change and transformation along with her enthusiasm and knowledge of Design Sprint will certainly help accelerate digital in the region”.

Design Sprint Academy ran the first-ever design sprint training in the world as well as the first-ever Problem Framing workshop at Google. Design Sprint Academy’s work includes running dozens of design sprints for big and small companies around the globe, from Adidas, Redbull, Rovio, Bank of Ireland to Springer, RGAX and the International Monetary Fund. The Design Sprint Academy is also the first company in the world to launch a 360-degree Design Sprint Training program.
Design Sprints are a tool to solve complex business challenges, de-risk big projects, build digital cultures and ultimately find the biggest innovation opportunities. The Design Sprint framework was developed at Google, to align teams under a shared vision with clearly defined goals and deliverables.
